This year’s mix is all Vintage hardwood.

It's all big wood and at least 10-15 years on the ground with all the soft growth low density outer rings rotted off, leaving only the very hardest most dense wood. No seasoning is required for this mix, once dry it burns super-hot, it’s like the 98 octane of firewood.

The mix contains: 

Grey and Black Iron Bark, Grey Gum, Spotted Gum, Tallowwood, Grey Box and White Mahogany

No Blue Gum, no soft woods, and no plantation wood.
